Villa Can Sophia

Can Sophia is a 3-bedroom home for a family of 6. Two of them have large king beds with high-quality mattresses, ideal for parents and grandparents. The third bedroom has twin beds, which makes it a good choice for young children. All three bedrooms are close to each other, as this is a one-story rental home. You don’t have to climb any stairs, which is good news for guests with mobility issues.

The three bedrooms are spacious, bright, and airy. They have a similar décor, so all guests will feel special. There are his/her wardrobes, bedside tables with reading lamps, and even work desks. Glass doors provide direct garden access. Extra pillows provide sleeping comfort. The villa has two bathrooms, both with his/her sinks. One bathroom has a luxurious bathtub and the other has a shower.

It’s a charming one-story house in true Ibizan farmhouse style. The whitewashed façade is typical of the rural village homes of the island. The estate also has an impressive size, dominated by a large garden, a well-tended lawn, and a swimming pool. The pool sandwiched between wide terraces is a busy area in the daytime. Its cool, turquoise water provides a mid-afternoon respite and relaxation to the guests.

There are ample loungers with tables on the poolside with tables for all the guests. A few steps away, on a covered porch, there is an outdoor dining table. Enjoy your alfresco lunch here while looking at the vast countryside. Elsewhere in the garden, there are tall trees, an old well, and sculptures of flamingos, which please young kids.

Villa Can Sophia is an old traditional finca but it has been lovingly restored in true Blakstad style by Blakstad Design Studio, which specializes in creating harmony between authentic Mediterranean styles while also combining the latest building techniques to suit contemporary living. However, the villa owner has also ensured that many of its original features have been retained, which makes this property special. As a result, you will find clean white walls, wooden beams, and open brickwork.

Inside, there is a large open-plan room that is flooded with natural light, thanks to the large windows and glass doors. Luxurious sofas are arranged around a wide-screen television and a fireplace. A stone wall and wooden-beamed ceiling add the traditional touch. Steps away, the dining area features an elegant wooden table with seating for eight. The modern kitchen is packed with many appliances and utensils.
