No matter where you stay, Ibiza is a wonderful place to be with kids. If you’re asking us what is the best area, we’d say look for a villa on the Eastern side of the island in resort towns such as Santa Eulalia, Cala Llonga, San Antonio Bay and Portinax.

Things to do

1. Sand, sea & sun: beach fun!

There are plenty of paradise-like beaches and coves to explore around the island of Ibiza. Playa d’en Bossa is a perfect family beach with soft white sand, shallow waters and water sports. Cala Tarida is another great beach to take the kids. Cotton Beach Club Ibiza is located at this beach on the west coast of Ibiza. Santa Eulalia is another one of our favourites with her lovely promenade. It’s also great fun to go on a beach hunt discovering secret coves with beautiful views such as Punta Galera or S’Estanyol. Want to stay near Ibiza Town? Talamanca doesn’t disappoint either.

2. Let’s go back to the 70ties: visit the hippie markets

Everyone loves the laidback bohemian vibes at the colourful hippie markets in Ibiza. The biggest one is Las Dalias. It’s a wonderful place to be for any shopaholic mother but also the kids will love to stroll around here with nothing but good vibes, music, laughter and other kids to play with.

Let’s stay in the hippie vibe. Every Sunday you can join a drum circle on Benirras Beach around sunset time. The first time this event happened was back in August 1991 when musicians gathered to protest the Gulf War. This day is known as ‘the day of the drums’. Today, this weekly event still takes place and everyone can join in. Great fun for kids and adults!

4. Acrobosc Adventure Park

Enter the world of stalagmites and stalactites in Can Marça Caves. A wonderful place that is beautiful and interesting. The tour ends with a fantastic light and music show inside the cave. In the old days, these caves were also used by smugglers to store contraband and you can still see marks they left inside to find their way in and out of the caves.

7. Daytrip to Formentera Island
