Dalt Vila translates to ‘upper town’. It’s the old town of Ibiza situated on top of a hill, surrounded by ancient city walls. The views from the old town are mind-blowing, overlooking the ocean. Dalt Vila has endless picturesque cobbled streets with must-visit cafes, restaurants, art galleries and museums. On top of the hill sits the cathedral which is truly impressive.
With incredibly clear waters and underwater caves, Ibiza is a great place to go scuba diving! There are 17 diving schools on the island. Go see The Wreck of Don Pedro, a ship that sank back in 2007. You can see lots of colourful fish, octopus and more. Perhaps you even get to see dolphins while out at sea.
Back in the 1960ties many artists, painters and designers came to Ibiza and the island never lost her artisan feel. Just go to one of the many hippy markets to experience it yourself. You can hunt down treasures such as cool vintage artifacts, handmade jewellery and so much more. You can buy delicious street food and enjoy live music. The ambience is friendly and laidback. Las Dalias is a wonderful night market on Monday and Tuesday evenings from June to September. The oldest and biggest hippy market is Punta Arabi held on Wednesdays starting at 10 am in the summer months. This market has lots of activities for the kids.
What better way is there than to explore the island on horseback? Ibiza Horse Valley is a rehabilitation centre that opened in 2010. This sanctuary is located in the north of the island spread out across 40 hectares of land. At Horse Valley, you get to meet all of the horses and connect with them before choosing the horse you are going to ride. Bonding is a very important part of the horse riding experience. There are beautiful trails leading you to the mountains (half-day trips) or towards the beach (full-day trips). It’s a wonderful experience.
You won’t be getting away from self-pampering during your stay in Ibiza. The island has a fabulous spa culture all you need to do is surrender and relax. Massages, beauty treatments, floating pools. Every Sunday around sunset time, a ritual drumming ceremony takes place on Berrinas Beach. You can take part in it or you can watch and dance to the music. Either way, it’s super fun and totally cool! Watch this video to get a good impression of a drumming session on the beach.
Es Vedra is an uninhabited rock formation that rises 404 metres above sea level. It’s located near Cala d’Hort nature reserve on the southwest coast of the island. Many myths and legends surround this mysterious rock formation. It’s believed to be the third most magnetic spot on planet earth and the tip of Atlantis. It really does have a special, magical-kind-of energy. Come and feel it for yourself.

World’s best DJs fly over to Ibiza to get the party started and if you don’t want it to end, you can just keep going. Privilege is known as the biggest nightclub in the world. Other famous clubs are Amnesia, Pacha and Ushuaia.
There are many places to go for sunset drinks. Even your private villa can have gorgeous sunset ocean views but Cafe del Mar is the iconic sunset bar Ibiza has known since the 1980ties. Cafe del Mar is located in San Antonio. Go check it out on the main strip if you’re in town.
